It's a MENA beam, in Nigeria you can't receive it, or you need a very big dish, perhaps above 1,8 m, I think.
Curiously Badr 4 has good coverage in Europe.

We are struggling with this frequency 11977. Every frequencies are working fine except 11977 V 27500s/r. I have all types of LNBF on 240cm prime focus dish. Still signal will not improve on 11977. Any way service providers and their engineers could improve the signal power on the west Africa beam? Reasons, we have large Lebanese communities in sene- Gambia area who always watches these programmes.

I.mean I tried various types of LNBF on 240cm prime focus dish. Almost all frequencies are working perfectly except 11977. Could you pls advice or directives? Since these channels left nilesat December 2019, o have tried but the frequency 11977 is not stable at all.

This frequency is modulated in DVB-S2. It requires a better signal than frequencies modulated in DVB-S.
The beam of this frequency is MENA, not North-West Africa.

Can you pick up for example the frequency 11938 MHz V 27500 5/6 modulated in DVB-S, an easier one on Badr 4?

ALL other TP work fine except this TP .frequent picture pixilation and sound distortion.

You need to improve the quality signal for this TP with better adjustments, bigger dish, proper LNB... You can call a professional installer.

My dish is 1m. I got most of the channels on bardr sat .
But transponder 11977 only works early evening. And for the rest of day it does nor work.
Any ideas please

Im trying since 2 weeks to catch lebanese channel but no way the frequency of 11977 v 27500 does not any signal .other channel is ok .im using new hd receiver and 60cm dish , should i have to use 90cm dish .or do you have any solution ?

Hello dears,
I live in europe (north france), I was trying to get the Lebanese channels on Badr, I’ve got a very good signal on 11977 v 27500 transponder but the channels receive are European ones and not Lebanese!! Any idea what can be wrong here. Do you beleive I can catch Badr channels from my location?

Your satellite dish antenna is pointed at the wrong satellite, perhaps Astra 19,2° Est :
• 11973 MHz V 27500 kS/s Astra 19,2° East (Comedy Central, MTV, NICK/MTV+)
I think you can pick up Badr 4 in northern France, but you need a big dish.

Hi, I am trying to search for the lebanese channels on 11977 V 27500, Arabsat Badr E 26.0, but I am not getting the channels. Is there a specific way to find Badr 4? Because I cannot see the satellite named Badr 4 on my receiver list, only showing Arabdat Badr E 26.0.
