I would like a list of satellites which carry FTA Dutch television channels, I have a dish on 23.5 degs East but cannot find any FTA Dutch channels

Above you have a table of FTA Dutch television channels and satellites. In any case there are 3 satellites and only one FTA Dutch channel per satellite. • Astra 23.5º East : TV Drenthe • Astra 19.2º East : BVN • Eutelsat Hot Bird 13º East : BVN

Like to know if I can receive FTA the Dutch tv stations Ned.1,2,3 on Astra 23.2E or is it only on 19.2 ??

BVN stops using the Astra 19.2° on 30th September 2018, but stays on the Hotbird 13° East. BVN, the public broadcaster for Dutch and Flemish citizens abroad, will stop transmitting via the Astra 1L 19.2° satellite. For Europe, a part of Northern Africa and a large part of the Middle East BVN continues to transmit via the Eutelsat Hotbird 13° East satellite.

Inside the NL, there is also DVB-T2, for if you want free NPO 1,2,3, and a regional channel, and some radio channels. Many TVs already have a DVB-T2 receiver built in, or buy a cheap small DVB-T2 'dongle'. When built in, just add a DVB-T antenna, for example the one that KPN sells for EUR 17,50. But even a random piece of wire, connected to the middle female connector in the antenna connector, is often already enough to test with. On a Philips TV, find the 'Digital reception test' option. Lists with related frequencies are easy to find on internet. (I used 618 MHz for Amsterdam)

It is so terrible BVN is taken off the Ses 5 satellite in South Africa! Would love to start a campaign to find another cheaper satellite to put it back on satellite! What can we do? There are so many Dutch speaking elderly here who can’t afford Android tv. Please HELP!

Irene blame politicians and budget cutting by the government of Vlaanderen. The reason is because the Flemish Minister of Media Benjamin Dalle (CSV) has terminated the collaboration between VRT and NPO. The Flemish government does not believe that broadcasting is a public service and have continually cut back the funding for VRT who only transmit radio services now. Their free to air TV transmissions were turned off a few years ago. VRT television is only available from encrypted commercial subscription services either from commercially operated terrestrial transmitters, commercial satellite subscription packages, or from a commercial cable TV provider. Thus the BVN station is now entirely funded by the NPO who by themselves only have enough budget to continue the satellite service in Europe on Hotbird 13 which has the largest service area and thus largest number of potential viewers.

and the Flemish are so mean,or impoverished they can t afford their BRT made VRT to look more "flemish" Now without the terrestrial transmitters ALL of flanders can pick up....French TV,I hope they use the opportunity....for free "over de eter" as they say!with a simple rake (or yagi) antenna pointed to Lille(or rijsel)...Enjoy!!
