state of Somaliland and UN trusteeship of somalia united as Somali Republic,so from 1960 to 1991 there was no country called Somalia. 1991 Somali republic failed to exit. Somalia( Ex south mali Republic) Succeeded from tha "unity" when it called itis self and unilaterlly formed agoverment. That is one of the reasons why Somaliland reclaimed it is independance. SLNTV is Somailander not Somalia
