The three main Fransat transponders will move tonight from Eutelsat 5 West A to Eutelsat 5 West B:
• KC04 11096 MHz V
• KB01 11471 MHz V
• KB03 11554 MHz V
And the two French MIS transponders:
• KB8 11508 MHz H French MIS
• KA4 12648 MHz V French MIS

Distribution rights and royalties... The French or italian channels aren't supposed to be viewed in Spain / Portugal

@Cat, it could be a small chance to catch those signals even if your position is clearly outside of the beam. How big antenna your are using right now? I am in Kristiansund (Norway) and I am watching French tv with just an 110cm antenna.

@cat, you might use TNTSat on Astra 19,2 east with an other receiver labeled TNT sat with just an 50 or 60 cm antenna. You will receive 27 standard channels.

no signal from Lund (Sweden). I'm using a 80cm dish and a freesat TSf8500HDU from Fransat whith Fransat PC6 card.

Dresden: the dish is now 1m, but it's a multifeed with 5° west at the extreme edge. I'll change the antenna in the next couple of weeks. Now there is still a signal, but very poor and not worth watching.

Je vois avec le transponder 11554 avec signal 63 et qualitée 52 donc visible pratiquement les 24 heures
Le transponder 11471 Sgnal 53 et qualitée 35 pendant la journné.(visiblilité absente)
Le soir et le matin bonne visibilitée

Dresden: I changed the antenna, now I have a 80x90 cm dish directly pointed to 5°w. The signal is much better now, more stable and there are no freezers anymore.

County Antrim, North-East coast of Ireland: I have lost French channels and all Mediaset channels from Italy. However, I still have RAI channels, working fine, but showing a lower signal quality figure. 80cm oval mesh dish, as used for Sky Zone 2. I'm hopeful that upgrading to a 1m dish will bring in more channels.

I'm in Bucharest, Romania. May I get the French Channels (L'Equipe, TF1, France 2,3,4) and Italians (Canale 5, Italia 1, Rete 4) with a dish 1.20 meteres diameter on the new installed satellite in January at 5 degrees West? Thanks !

I am postioned in Oslo; Norway and have had a Meosat box with Viaccess card for reception of french TNT channels for a couple of years, and working fine until some weeks back when channels was gone when turning on the box. Dish is oval 75x85 cm and we did have FR3 but after trying to adjust dish we lost FR3 too. Seems a new satellite is in operation and that a larger dish is required ? Can anyone suggest a size dish that should have reasonable possibilities to receive again ??

12648V comes in fine in NW Denmark. Signal on 11554H too, but 11509H is dead. I must be right on the fringe. 110cm dish. 56'48N 8'52 E

I can still receive the French fransat channels from the Transalpine Satellite West 5B at Claremorris Co.Mayo West of Ireland without any problem on a 2 meter dish.
