Hi Gpv, Mediaset channels have been scrambled since end of last year / beginning of 2016. I live in the UK and I have the same problem. I have been looking into Tivusat which seems to be the only decoder that allows you to watch these channel abroad. I haven't been able to find out any recent review about it yet but at least you know.

You need: • The satellite dish pointed at Eutelsat Hot Bird 13º East and a sufficient level of reception of the signal of each concerned transponder (frequency). • A Tivùsat certified decoder and its smart card activated.

Basically you need: 1.- Satellite dish antenna pointed at Eutelsat Hot Bird 13º East. 2.- A Tivùsat certified device (satellite receiver on any television set, o CAM module on television with satellite tuner integrated and compatible) 3.- Smartcard activated through Tivùsat official website (Italian fiscal code required).

On a Tivùsat decoder you can see also free-to-air channels, but there are not Indian channels availables on Eutelsat Hot Bird 13º Est. My father-in-law is an Italian living in the UK. He has a Tivusat Humax receiver complete with registered card on Hot Bird 13.0E. A couple of months ago he lost the channel Canale Italia which was is favorite channel (ballando cantando show). To get this channel back would he need to move the dish and would that impact on all the other Italian channels now available to him? I have found Canale Italia on the internet as free web streams but he doesnt have a PC or smart TV. Many thanks if yiu can help?

As of July 2018 there are four Canale Italia viewable on Tivùsat, there's no reason to fiddle with the dish, you would loose the entire bouquet; the best thing to do is a tuner rescan.

Hi - thx for hosting this site. Just this morning all our sat channels went from working to displaying signal weak message. I tried a channel update and it only found a number of channels on a few transponders, namely 10992 (RAI). I checked the tp for mediaset (11432) and saw that the sign str was at 0. So Im a little confused as to what could have changed so as most channels are not working. The tivusat box is hooked up to a communal aerial looking at HBird 13E and given the lockdown I cant see anything changing there. The box hasnt been updated/scanned for channels in a while and Im wondering if for whatever reason we were watching channels on an old tp setting. Any ideas what I should look for when trying get some of the missing channels back? Priority is for Rete 4, Canale 5 and Italia Uno. Any help would be appreciated. Like I said Rai 1-3 and other channels on 10992 are working but the frequencies for 11432 V 29900 3/4 DVB0S2 2PSK show sig str of 0.

Those purely in English are FTA: 69 France 24 HD (in English), 70 BBC World News, 71 Al Jazeera English HD, 72 TRT World HD, 73 NHK WORLD-JAPAN, 81 CNBC HD, 82 Bloomberg European TV, 83 i24News HD English, 84 i24News HD French, 85 DW English HD, 86 Euronews English HD, 87 CGTN... And there is optional English track in some Italian channels for original versions.

Yesterday I installed everything with an activated card and satellite on Hotbird 13° E. Most of the channels seems to appear, but... all of the Mediaset channels (like Rete4) are not in the list. With Tivùsat you can get all FTA Astra 19.2°E channels. All Tivùsat decoders are compatible with DiSEqC 1.0 protocol. Regarding Tivùsat CAM modules, normally all television with satellite tuner integrated and compatible with Tivùsat implement DiSEqC 1.0. DiSEqC 1.0 protocol allows switching between up to 4 satellite sources.

Between August 28th and September 3rd VPIDs and APIds of channels on 11432 V changed. If your decoder did not update automatically, scan manually on 11432 V or reinstall the channels. • TP 11432 MHz V 29900

hi. in uk with old tivusat box. i bought GTMedia V7 Pro to upgrade, thinking it'd get me past the recent tivusat/rai/channel changes but only getting basic FTA channels. Assume that the dozens of others are now encrypted? Or are they ftv but limited by either old card/wrong stb/some other requirement? missing wider RAI,Rete4,Italia 1,etc. Dish aimed at 13E. What am i missing? thanks.

In the above list (Tivùsat channels by number) and table (Tivùsat channels by frequencies) is indicated if the channel is FTA or encrypted. For encrypted channels you need a Tivùsat certified device (satellite receiver on any television set, o CAM module on television with satellite tuner integrated and compatible) and the Tivùsat smartcard activated.

Hello, I had a technomate receiver with a gold tivusat card that worked well for a number of years. However, in December I lost my last Mediaset channel - Canale 5. I bought a Humax receiver with tivusat hd card and set it up yesterday. I can get all the Rai channels amongst other Italian channels, but the Mediaset channels are missing. After a google search, I have factory reset the humax box, re-tuned and all Mediaset channels are still missing. I would be really grateful for any advice in identifying what the problem could be and if there is any hope in getting Mediaset channels back! Many thanks

Hi and thank you for your advice. I can't see any of the channels you have listed. I can't watch 25 - tgcom24 or 4 - rete 4. When I punch in 4 or 25 on the remote a message comes on the tv screen saying 'wrong number'. On the tv channel list I have 1 - rai 1 hd, 2 - rai 2 hd, 3 - rai 3 hd 4, 5 & 6 are missing and then it jumps to 7 -La7, 8 - tv8, 9 - novehd, 10 - rai 4 hd then 11, 12, 13 are missing. I have 14, 15, no 16, 17, 18. I have 19... I'm not sure how to measure quality signal but I did notice when the receiver was scanning, the quality was shifting between 65 & 75%. When it scanned 11432 I don't think any channels were found. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong

As of 20/12/22 Our free to air HD Italian channels (Most kf the Rai and Mediaset channels) became scrambled. I have found alternative Rai 1/2/3 but cannot find ALT Rete 4, Canale 5 or Italia 1. Can anyone advise if there is still a way to watch these without having to getting a new Tivusat card? Thanks
